Programmatic Partnerships Manager

Full-Time | Sales | New York, NY

We are looking for a smart, energetic, and experienced Programmatic Partnerships Manager to be responsible for leading GasBuddy’s programmatic partnership efforts with top brand partners, agency trading desks and major DSPs. You will be responsible for driving programmatic and data-driven revenue across GasBuddy properties through Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic guaranteed and direct channels. This role is based in New York and requires some travel.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and growing programmatic direct brand marketing deals via agency trading desks, DSPs, SSPs
  • Prospect, Present, Negotiate, Close and Assist on execution of programmatics campaigns (PMPs, etc.)
  • Represent GasBuddy as evangelist for the programmatic ads business
  • Compile deal reporting to track spend, trends and analyze performance on all PMP deals
  • Be point person for relationships with existing programmatic partners and strategically onboarding new partners as needed
  • Be a strategic contributor to the programmatic ads business specifically working on opportunities to test, learn, implement through new deals and/or segmentation with our partners.
  • Be responsible for a quarterly programmatic revenue target
  • Provide financial reporting to executive and senior sales staff, including month-end revenue reporting and attribution
  • Proactively maintain knowledge of industry trends as they relate to the programmatic space

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required
  • 2+ years in digital advertising and/or programmatic sales, sales planner, or yield management industry
  • Experience working closely with data exchanges, ad networks, demand side platforms (DSP), agency trading desks, supply side platforms (SSP), and ad servers (DFP, MoPub, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic and data-focused pricing models and market trends
  • Understanding of all variations of programmatic publisher products (programmatic guaranteed, header bidding, etc.) and DSP technology
  • Must have strong familiarity with advertising technologies on the sell-side or buy-side of the online ad landscape including survey, data collection, verification, real-time bidding, behavioral targeting, cookie matching and exchanges.
  • Outstanding customer service and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced and challenging working environment
  • Must have GID (Get-It-Done) attitude
